Scripture + Blood Donation

Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread we break a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are of one body, for we all share one loaf.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, that ye hath both learned, and received, and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace shall be with you.”

For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.”
